WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Food Network has released air dates for two additional Wilmington restaurants that will be featured in Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-ins and Dives.
Fieri stopped by the Port City in January to film at Fork N Cork, Copper Penny, Something Fishy, Sweet n Savory Cafe, Ceviche's, and Cast Iron Kitchen.
Earlier this month, air dates for the episodes featuring Ceviche's, Copper Penny, and Something Fishy were released. This week, we now have details about the episodes featuring Fork N Cork and Cast Iron Kitchen.
Season 28, Episode 10 titled Grab and Grub will air on Friday, May 4 at 9 p.m. This episode will feature Guy visiting restaurants where you can "literally grab all kinds of grub." He stops by a Chicago-style spot in Tucson, Ariz. and a Cuban restaurant in Miami. He also swings by a "funky pub in Wilmington spicin' up duck wings and poppin' bite-size beef Wellington" which likely is Fork N Cork.
Season 28, Episode 11 titled BBQ Bites and Southern Flavor will air on Friday, May 25 at 9 p.m. Guy hits the road in search of some barbecue and Southern comfort which leads him to spots in Seattle and Oakland, Calif. He also visits a Wilmington breakfast-brunch spot "getting dirty with their biscuits and living large with their meatloaf." This restaurant is likely Cast Iron Kitchen.
It's unclear when the episode featuring Sweet n Savory Cafe will be featured on Triple D.
The episode featuring Ceviche's is scheduled to air tonight at 9 p.m. on Food Network.
