Supply man charged with sex crimes involving one-year-old

SUPPLY, N.C. (WECT) - A man from Supply has been charged with sex crimes allegedly involving a one-year-old, according to arrest warrants.
The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office arrested 54-year-old Robert Christopher Smith on Oct. 7.
He was charged with five counts of statutory sex offense with a child and 10 counts of indecent liberties with a child.
According to the warrants, the offenses happened on May 1, from 2020 to 2024.
Smith is being held without a bond. He is expected to appear in court at 2 p.m. on Oct. 8.
