Former East Bladen star involved in accident

Former East Bladen Eagle and current Oakland Raider defensive back Desmond Bryant was involved in a car accident early Wednesday morning in Bladen county.
Bryant, along with his brothers Alton junior and Brenton, were involved in a single-car accident on route 87 north of Elizabethtown. An investigation into the accident is still on-going.
Alton junior was treated at New Hanover Regional Medical Center where he has since been removed from intensive care.
Brenton and Desmond were not hospitalized.
After graduating from East Bladen, Desmond Bryant attended Harvard before joining the Raiders where he had 32 tackles as a rookie this past season. Brenton Bryant also graduated from East Bladen and later attended Harvard.
