WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - Enjoy as crisp autumn air limits rain chances across the Cape Fear throughout the week. Daily temps dawning in the nippy 40s and cresting the comfy 70s will accelerate the fall foliage color show toward its seasonal peak. First Alert: next weekend’s scheme’s looking colder with chilly 50s and 60s for highs and potentially frosty 30s for lows.
New tropical storm formation is unlikely in the Atlantic Basin this week.
