Pet of the Week: Meet Tiana from Paws Place Dog Rescue

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - A 1 1/2-year-old shepherd mix named Tiana is waiting to meet her forever family at Paws Place Dog Rescue.

Staff describe Tiana as an energetic, affectionate companion who knows tricks and enjoys splashing around in the facility’s doggie pool. She is equally comfortable joining a multi-dog household or thriving as an only pet, and rescue workers say she gets along well with both adults and children.

Those interested in adopting can visit the rescue facility at 242 George II Highway in Winnabow. Walk-ins are welcome Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with no appointment necessary.
