TRAFFIC ALERT: Part of Highway 117 shut down after crash near Burgaw

PENDER COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) - Emergency crews in Pender County are on the scene of a crash near Burgaw Friday morning.

According to Pender County Emergency Management, the crash happened in the area of the 5000 block of Highway 117 North between Croomsbridge Road and New Savannah Road.

Emergency Management said lanes in both directions are closed in the area.

Drivers should expect delays in the area.
