WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - Stedman Stevens, a Wilmington-based author, joined Randy Aldridge on WECT News Now to discuss his new book “Finding Hope After Loss: Navigating What’s Next and How Do You Get There”.

Stevens, who lost his wife suddenly, is using his experience in corporate turnarounds to help others process grief and loss.

The book combines his background as a CEO with his personal journey as a widower raising three young daughters.

“Grief is on the one end of the continuum,” he said. “And loss, you have rejections. I didn’t get this job. I have a relationship that broke apart. Divorce, miscarriage. I lost a pet. There are lots of losses we all deal with in life.”

A book signing is scheduled for Thursday, June 25, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Paysage Home.
