Certificate of need filed to develop new adult care home in Wilmington
WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - A certificate of need application has been filed with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) to develop a new adult care home in Wilmington.
New Hanover Opco II LLC and New Hanover Propco II LLC filed the application to relocate 64 beds from Castle Creek Memory Care to develop The Landings of New Hanover.
According to a release from NCDHHS, the project is expected to cost $12.9 million and be completed in October 2030.
Residents can attend a public hearing for the project on April 10 at 10 a.m. in the meeting room of the Arboretum Education Center on Oleander Drive.
Comments on the project must be received by the Healthcare Planning and Certificate of Need Section no later than 5 p.m. March 31.
