BRUNSWICK COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) - Brunswick County NCWorks is hosting a free, hands-on workshop to help job seekers connect to statewide job openings and training programs.

The workshop is an interactive session that will show how to use NCWorks Online by creating an account, profile, building a professional resume, and applying for jobs.

The workshop will be held at the NCWorks Career Center on 5300-7 Main Street on Oct. 30, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

In addition, data from the myFutureNC dashboard, built in partnership with the North Carolina Department of Commerce, shows that the state’s labor-market alignment rate is 81%, meaning eight out of ten graduates hold credentials aligned with in-demand jobs,” NCWorks organizers wrote in a press release.
