Autographed love letter from Michael Jordan up for auction for $10,000

MATAWAN, NJ (WECT) - An auction house in New Jersey has uploaded a bid for Michael Jordan’s autographs and a love letter he wrote in high school.

Lelands Auctions has set a bid for $10,000 for a twice-signed two-page handwritten love letter dated May 20, 1981. Jordan penned the letter to his then-high school girlfriend near the end of his senior year.

According to the auction house, each page of the letter was encapsulated and the signature on page one was granted MINT 9 and NM-MT 8 for the second signature.

“This is one of the most amazing Michael Jordan items we have ever seen and even if one has no intention of ultimately owning it, we encourage everyone to read it,” Lelands Auctions stated on their website.
