Community invited to learn meditation skills at ’Music and Mindfulness’ workshop
RALEIGH, N.C. (WECT) - Red Bird Vitality Meditation Studio is inviting those interested in learning how to meditate to a free workshop on July 17.
“Interested in meditation, but don’t think you can do it? Learn how music can be integrated in a meditation practice to help make it less intimidating and more enjoyable,” the event website states.
Leigh Sterrett, owner of Red Bird Vitality, spoke with WECT about the event and what participants can expect.
Sterrett will be joined by Tina Langevin, voice coordinator at the Chapel Hill School of Musical Arts, in hosting the event, scheduled to be held from 7 to 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, at Red Bird Vitality, 5061 Six Forks Road in Raleigh.
