Frances Weller to compete in UNCW’s first ever “Dancing with the Seahawks”

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - The first-ever Dancing with the Seahawks is being hosted by UNCW next month on Sunday, April 21 at the Warwick Center.

Five competitors from around the region will be paired with professional dancers from the Fred Astaire Dance Studio to benefit the UNCW women’s basketball team. WECT’s Frances Weller is one of the competitors dancing.

Head Coach Nicole Woods stopped by the WECT Studio to discuss the competition.

Anyone can be a sponsor or buy a ticket for general admission. The competition will take place from 5 to 9 p.m.
