Caswell Beach Police Department gets new chief

CASWELL BEACH, NC (WECT) - Caswell Beach Police Officer Sam Massey was promoted to chief of the Caswell Beach Police Department, according to a post made on the department’s Facebook page.
Massey began his career with the Town of Long Beach Police Department in 1990, and has been serving Caswell Beach since July 2000.
According to the post, Massey says he is honored to command such a dedicated group of professional career police officers.
