PENDER COUNTY, NC (WECT) - One of NBC's newest shows, Revolution, will be filming at the Wallace airport on Tuesday night.

Members of the crew obtained a permit allowing them to use pyrotechnics, according to Pender County Deputy Fire Marshal Tommy Batson. Batson said the filming should start as soon as it gets dark and will continue into early in the morning on Wednesday.

Batson said because the airport is small and is used for mainly private planes, it will not cause problems.

Recently, scenes from Iron Man 3 were also shot in Pender County. County Manager Mickey Duvall said it helps boost the local economy. Usually films have to pay a fee to shoot on property and rent props from the county.
