Chadbourn names interim police chief

CHADBOURN, NC (WECT) - Chadbourn has an interim police chief in place.
Mayor Phillip Britt said Tuesday that Anthony Spivey has been named interim chief of the town's police department. Former chief Harry White resigned on April 16.
According to Britt, Spivey has served in several roles during his 11 years in law enforcement, including detective and corporal.
Britt said Spivey has been with the Chadbourn Police Department for a little more than a year.
