WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - For the second straight year, UNCW forward Devontae Cacok is a NCAA Division I men's basketball statistical leader.

One year after leading the NCAA in field goal percentage, Cacok led the country in rebounding last season, grabbing 13.5 boards per game.

Cacok is just the fourth D-I player to finish first in separate statistical categories in consecutive years. Jason Kidd (steals, assists), Shaquille O'Neal (rebounds per game, blocks) and Stephen Sir (3-point percentage, 3-pointers made per game) are the only other players to achieve the feat.

Cacok had 20 or more rebounds three times last season — including 24 versus James Madison on Jan. 25, 2018 — and he pulled down at least 10 rebounds in 23-of-32 games.
