FORT FISHER, NC (WECT) - The Carolina Beach Police Department and the Kure Beach Police Department will hold a Public Safety Day festival on Saturday, April 7.

The free event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Fort Fisher Air Force Recreation Area.

Local police, fire, EMS, federal agencies and military branches will be on hand.

The festival will include a Kid's Zone with games and activities, and static displays of police, fire, ems and military vehicles. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
