Whale spotted off coast of Kure Beach

KURE BEACH, NC (WECT) - A whale was spotted in the water off the coast of Kure Beach Sunday.
Jack Boyce said he was in town filming a wedding when they saw the whale off of the Kure Beach Pier.
He grabbed his drone and decided to take some video of it.
Boyce said he saw the whale around 10:30 Sunday morning.
Another post in the Kure Beach Pier Facebook group says they saw two whales. The person's post said they appeared to be humpback whales.
