Indo Jax Surf School to host 1st Annual Childhood Cancer Surf Camp

WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC (WECT) - Indo Jax Surf School is hosting their First Annual Childhood Cancer Surf Camp at Wrighsville Beach from Tuesday until Thursday.

The camp will run from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.at Wrightsville Beach Access #10 on Mallard Street.

Parking is available in parking lots near Mercer's Pier and Access #8 just past the Holiday Inn.

Those children planning to attend should bring a swimsuit, towel and water bottle. All surf equipment will be provided as well as sunscreen, rash guard, water, and a goody bag. Parents should plan on staying to watch their children.

Siblings are welcome to join the camp, but should register first before coming. This will allow the surf school time to prepare the required number of instructors and equipment. There is no cost for siblings to participate.

Indo Jax Surf Charities will be providing a photographer free of charge who will be taking hundreds of professional photos.
