WILMINGTON, North Carolina - Nick Feight continued to power the Seahawk lineup with two hits and three runs batted in while Ryan Foster tossed a complete game as UNCW topped Towson, 7-2, in a Colonial Athletic Association series opener on Friday at Brooks Field.
UNCW improved to 25-9 with its 10th consecutive win overall and 11th at Brooks Field. In the CAA, the Seahawks raised their record to 6-2. Towson, meanwhile, dropped its seventh consecutive decision to dip to 14-25 overall and 5-5 in the league.
Foster (8-1) picked up the win and his second complete game of the season, both tops in the CAA, needing 96 pitches to go the distance. He allowed two runs on six hits, walked three and struck out one.

Feight homered in the sixth and later added a two-run double as part of a five-run seventh inning. The sophomore now has 13 home runs and a nation-leading 65 runs batted in. Steven Linkous added two hits and scored twice while Kennard McDowell delivered his second home run of the season to ignite the five-run seventh inning.
TU starter Skylar Morris (2-2) took the loss despite a strong outing. The righthander held the Seahawks to two runs on four hits and a pair of walks over six innings.
Chris Henze had two hits and Brady Policelli scored twice and drew three walks.
Next up: The series continues on Saturday with a 2 p.m. start.

How it happened: Towson used a two-out walk, stolen base and single to tie the game at 1-all in the top of the sixth, but Nick Feight retored UNCW's lead with a solo homer in the bottom of the inning to make it 2-1.
Inside the box score: Foster allowed just one hit with two outs and allowed a leadoff base runner just twice ... Towson had four hits with RISP, but managed just two runs ... The Seahawks were just 3-for-14 with runners on base, but had four two-out hits and four-two out RBI's.
