Fix a Friend Spay and Neuter Clinic celebrates 4,000 surgeries

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - The Fix a Friend Spay and Neuter Clinic's mission is to cut down on unwanted pets in animal shelters.

They have performed over 4,000 surgeries in just a year. The clinic is celebrating with a "Grab and Growl" pot luck event taking place Friday, Aug. 29 at 6:30 p.m.

Admission is $10 and all the proceeds go to Adopt and Angel and another charity that gets the most votes at the event.
