Wallace-Rose Hill scrimmage moved to High School

WALLACE, NC (WECT) – Construction at Legion Stadium didn't stop Wallace-Rose Hill from hosting the team's annual football scrimmage.  Instead the six team event was moved to the Bulldogs practice field at the high school.

"They are pouring a cement slab to move the visitor stands in because we have a new baseball field, and we couldn't get it done with the rain."  Wallace-Rose Hill head coach and Athletic Director Joey Price says he expects the work to be finished in time for the Bulldogs home opener on August 17th against Whiteville.

Without lights the host Bulldogs, Harrells Christian Academy, Richlands, West Brunswick, Hoggard, and East Bladen played until sundown.  The teams rotated playing offense then defense before taking a break.
