Free fitness classes to shake up your workout rut

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT)- If the thought of doing the same, regular ho-hum fitness routine bores you to the point of not doing it anymore, that's when you know it is time for a change.
If you've been working out for some time and have stopped seeing results, it's also time for a change.
You body can easily stop dropping weight and toning up if you are doing the same thing over and over again. To keep that from happening, you've got to keep finding ways to challenge both your body and your mind.
Urban Fitness studios, located on 1994 Eastwood Road in Wilmington, has several new classes for the new year to get people excited about working out again.
They are now offering a women's self defense class, TRX cross training, hip hop kick boxing, Tabata, kettle bell training, boot camp, even beginners aerial acrobat classes.
To give it a try, you can take the following classes for free this week.
- Thursday, January 5th at 6 p.m.- Tabata: Extreme Total Body with Angela
- Friday, January 6th at 4:30 p.m. - Kettle Bell Training with Alissa
- Saturday January 7th at 9 a.m.- Ultimate Challenge with Steven
- Saturday, January 7th at 11 a.m.- Kettle Bell Boot Camp with Crystal
