Cape Fear Dad matures into Men Ink

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Cape Fear Dad has provided the greater Wilmington area with a magazine focused on fatherhood for years, but now the men behind the mag are ready to expand.

Editor-in-Chief, and father-of-two, David Fredericksen said he and the rest of his staff want to reach a bigger audience and write for all men.

"This magazine will put you in touch with men that you know," said Fredericksen. "These are guys you're going to see who live locally, who work locally, and who raise a family locally."

Just like its predecessor, Cape Fear Dad, Men Ink will offer a platform for men to share their experiences and expertise of life in the Port City.

"We really want stronger men and fathers in our families here in Wilmington," said Fredericksen.

Dads and dudes alike can expect the first issue of Men Ink to hit news stands October 2011.
