Wilmington Downtown hosts makeshift indoor real estate tour

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Wilmington Downtown hosted a real estate tour Wednesday for people looking to rent or buy office and business space in the area.

Because of the rain, organizers improvised by brining the tour to the participants.

The original plan was to show prospective buyers ten different spaces throughout Wilmington that are on the market.  Instead, they stayed at the Cotton Exchange where representatives used brochures and visuals to show off their properties.

Prospective buyers who attended the event were able to view one available space - the Cotton Exchange has a 16,000 square foot area that's ready to house an office or business.

Renters and buyers will be able to schedule private tours of the business spaces on their own time.
