Paige Pauroso

MMJ / Reporter

Charlotte, NC

Paige Pauroso is happy to call Charlotte her new home. She joined the WBTV team in June of 2019.

She graduated from Elon University with a broadcast journalism degree and a week later started work as an MMJ in Lubbock, TX where she reported on a series of high profile investigations, court cases and even chased tornadoes. That’s where she became a college sports fan, and now cheers on Texas Tech. Wreck ‘em!

In her time in Lubbock, Paige quickly became the senior reporter and weekend anchor. The one thing she loves about this job is that every day is a new story and new people to meet. Paige is an MMJ, which stands for multimedia journalist. This means Paige interviews, shoots, writes, and edits her own stories every day.

Paige calls Virginia home but she has family members from Kings Mountain and ancestors who fought in the Battle of Kings Mountain during the Revolutionary War.

In her free time, Paige likes taking her rescue pup Nelly on walks and spending time with friends.
