Reyna Crooms joined the news team in June of 2023 as a multimedia journalist/ reporter.
Reyna grew up just outside of the Raleigh area in Apex, North Carolina. She graduated from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina, in May of 2023 with her B.S. in Fine Arts and Communication with a concentration in journalism.
Reyna worked at her university newspaper The East Carolinian as a sports and arts & entertainment reporter. She has interned with WNCN and WALTER Magazine in Raleigh along with WNCT in Greenville. Reyna was also chosen to participate in the 2023 CBC-UNC Diversity Fellowship with WRAL news in Raleigh.
Reyna looks forward to sharing local stories for the Wilmington area. In her free time, Reyna enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
