Law enforcement search Greenfield Lake for potential evidence

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - A dive team was working in Greenfield Lake Monday morning.
According to a Wilmington Police Department spokesperson, police believe a firearm connected to the Oct. 15 shooting in downtown Wilmington may be in the lake.
No evidence was found by the time crews wrapped up. According to the WPD representative, crews are not expected to return on Tuesday.
