Boiling Spring Lakes police investigating after occupied house damaged in shooting

BOILING SPRING LAKES, N.C. (WECT) - An investigation is ongoing in the City of Boiling Spring Lakes after police say an occupied house was struck multiple times in a shooting.
According to the Boiling Spring Lakes Police Department, on Saturday, Oct. 14, officers responded just after 2 a.m. to the 200 block of Foxcroft Road, where a residence had been hit multiple times by gunfire.
“The residence was occupied by two adults and four children at the time of the shooting,” the release from the police department states. “The investigation is ongoing and we asked anyone with information to contact Detective Robert Tursi at 910-363-0011.”
The police department reports that no one was injured in the incident.
