Forever Family: Meet Joanna

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - This week in our Forever Family segment, we want to bring you the story of a young lady who knows how to enjoy the moment and would bring a lot of joy to a home.

Joanna is 10 years old and radiates a type of love and energy that is simply contagious.

“She is a friendly kid, she loves giving hugs,” Child Advocate Patty Fox said. “She gets excited about things. She loves animals.

“She likes games. I think she wants a family that will travel because she likes to swim. One of her previous families they went to the beach so that was something that was definitely fun for her.”

Joanna also enjoys art and going to church.

“The sky is the limit,” Fox said. “I know she likes art, and making things, so that may be where her desires lie.

“I can see her teaching. She likes animals, so I can see her, you know, as a vet.”
