Portion of 5th Street to close in Southport for stormwater repair work

SOUTHPORT, N.C. (WECT) - The City of Southport announced on Tuesday, Sept. 12, that the 500 block of 5th Street South is scheduled to be closed all day.

According to the announcement, the closure will allow stormwater repair work to be completed in the area.
