Cape Fear Gardening: A sneak peek at the upcoming annual plant sale
A look ahead to the annual plant sale at the Arboretum

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - Thousands of plants will be available to buy at the New Hanover County Arboretum’s annual plant sale at the end of April.
Extension agent/consumer horticulture staff member Matt Collohan said there will be something there for everyone.
“Over 3,000 plants have been started from seed by the Master Gardener volunteers and about 5,000 [plants] have been potted from plugs,” said Collogan.

The plant sale will be held April 28, 29, 30, from 10 a.m.–6 p.m. and May 1 from 12 p.m.–4 p.m. Friends of the Arboretum can shop early on April 27.
