First Alert Forecast: a slightly cooler and less humid pattern emerges
WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - Good Wednesday to you! Your First Alert Forecast for the Cape Fear Region features a slight reprieve from the heat, humidity and torrential rain. Look for highs to grow only to the middle and upper 80s with only a stray pop up shower during the heat of the afternoon.
On the tropical front: Bill has entered into a post-tropical phase. New tropical storm development will be possible in the western Gulf of Mexico and the eastern tropical Atlantic Ocean in that same frame.
