Law enforcement responds to ShotSpotter activation in downtown Wilmington

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - The Wilmington Police Department responded to a ShotSpotter activation in downtown Wilmington late Thursday night.

According to a WPD spokesperson, no one was injured in the incident.

The spokesperson declined to release any further information stating that “detectives are in the midst of a sensitive investigation surrounding the incident.”
