First Alert Forecast: Sunday night showers, improving conditions Monday

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - Happy Sunday! The week ahead will feature above normal temperatures and below normal temperatures thanks to two cold front that will drive our weather pattern. The first front arrive tonight which will also come with a few passing showers overnight into daybreak Monday.

Cooler air will fill in behind the front which you will really notice Tuesday! Overnight lows Monday into Tuesday will drop to near 40 with some 30s further inland. Wind chill factor will be something to look out for with cool north breezes making it feel like the middle, possibly lower 30s Tuesday morning!

By Thanksgiving Day Thursday, temperatures will warm back into the 70s but the odds for showers will grow to near 40%. as the second cold front approaches - we’ll continue to fine tune your holiday forecast in the days ahead!
