Nothing found after bomb threat called into Wilmington International Airport

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office responded to a bomb threat at Wilmington International Airport late Thursday night.

According to Lieutenant Jerry Brewer, nothing was found after the threat was called in to the main area. Deputies were actively clearing the building at 1:30 a.m.

No injuries have been reported.

There isn’t word yet on a possible suspect or motive for the bomb threat.
