WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - The mother of a New Hanover County teenager who was badly injured in a four-wheeler accident this week says her son was expected to be released from the hospital Saturday afternoon.
Patrick Faircloth is a rising junior at New Hanover High School. He also plays on the school’s football team.
“Today I’m happy to report that he just got cleared to be released so we should be going home this afternoon,” said Deana Carlisle Faircloth in a Facebook message to WECT’s Frances Weller.
According to a Facebook post by a relative, Faircloth suffered a fractured skull and had bleeding on his brain.
