Man injured in Monday afternoon shooting, Wilmington police say

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - One person was injured in a shooting Monday afternoon, according to the Wilmington Police Department.
A spokeswoman for the police department said the shooting took place near 11th and Queen streets around 1 p.m.
A 22-year-old man sustained non-life threatening injuries and was taken to New Hanover Regional Medical Center for treatment.
