WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - A man wanted in connection to a bank robbery in Whiteville has been booked at the Columbus County Detention Center.
Officers with the Whiteville Police Department transported Franklin Graham to Columbus County Thursday and charged him with conspiracy to commit a bank robbery with a dangerous weapon.
Police say he took part in an armed robbery at the First Bank of Whiteville on Feb. 22.
His bond has been set at $100,000.
Victoria Neal, 28, was taken into custody outside of the bank shortly after the incident, Whiteville police officials said, thanks to a detailed suspect description provided by bank employees.
Investigators say Neal was in the process of leaving the bank with a bag of money. Two officers saw Neal in the parking lot, apprehended her and recovered the cash.
No staff or customers in the bank were hurt during the robbery.
Neal and Graham also are facing charges related to an armed robbery of a bank in Loris on Feb. 14.
