Playing for a purpose: annual golf tournament benefits NHRMC’s Pink Ribbon Project

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) - The fall-like temperature Friday was perfect for the annual Play for Pink golf tournament held at Magnolia Greens in Leland.

More than 220 golfers teed up to raise money for New Hanover Regional Medical Center’s Pink Ribbon Project.

Money raised from the event will help pay for mammograms for women who do not have insurance.

This is the 14th year Magnolia Greens has hosted the Play for Pink event.
