Whiteville fire station lights up the night to remember fallen firefighters

WHITEVILLE, N.C. (WECT) - The City of Whiteville Fire Department is lighting up the night in memory of fallen firefighters.

The fire department building, which is located at 120 E Columbus St., was bathed in red light Sunday night.

According to a Facebook post from the fire department, this will continue each night through Oct. 6 as it joins many other fire departments in “lighting our fire station red to remember the fallen.”
