Woman paid for Chinese food with fake $50 bill, Leland police say

LELAND, N.C. (WECT) - Detectives with the Leland Police Department are asking for the public’s help to identify a woman accused of using counterfeit money at a local restaurant.

According to a Facebook post, police said the woman went to the Jade Garden Chinese restaurant, located at 1735 Reed Road, on July 16 and paid for her food with a fake $50 bill.
