Severe Thunderstorm Watch in effect for SE NC until 10 p.m.
A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for parts of southeastern North Carolina.

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for parts of the Cape Fear Region below:

Severe T-Storm Warnings

A Severe T-Storm Warning means a storm with the potential of 60+ mph hour winds or hail in excess of one inch of diameter or larger is possible. Take cover in a sturdy structure now!

Severe T-Storm Warnings

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means the potential for Severe thunderstorms is possible. You should be alert to actively changing weather in the event severe a developing shower or storm becomes strong or severe.
