TRAFFIC ALERT: Sewer work to cause nightly closures on Dawson, Wooster streets

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - Beginning Sunday, contractors with Cape Fear Public Utility Authority will begin lining sewer mains on Wooster and Dawson streets as part of a major sewer project by the authority.

CFPUA officials said lane closures will be necessary while the work is being performed but will occur at night in an attempt to minimize traffic disruptions.

The work is expected to wrap up in about a month.
