WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) -Junior Zarion Sharpe struck out eight and was one of five UNCW pitchers to combine on a 4-0 shutout win over James Madison on Saturday as the Seahawks clinched a Colonial Athletic Association tournament berth.

The Seahawks evened their record at 28-28 and 12-12 in the league and will be the fifth-seed at next week’s championship tournament in Harrisonburg, Va.

Senior Branden Mulier notched the final two outs to collect his first career save.

Brooks Baldwin led UNCW with two hits and two runs scored.

The Seahawks play fourth-seeded Northeastern at noon on May 22.
