GREENVILLE, NC (WECT) - No. 11 East Carolina baseball team beat UNCW, 8-5, on Tuesday at Clark-LeClair Stadium.
The Pirates (30-10) took advantage of a two-out, two run error in the bottom of the eight in a game tied at five.
UNCW (20-22) dropped their sixth straight game.
The Seahawks had a season-high 14 hits with five players having multi-hit games.
The Seahawks return to Brooks Field Wednesday for a 6 p.m. start against Campbell.
