WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Hi on a Monday! Thanks for checking in for your forecast. This week, it's an unsettled one. To start, a warm front / cold front combination will bring a couple of shower chances. Later, a blustery cold front looks to punctuate the week with another rain and possibly storm chance. Wednesday and Valentine's Day Thursday ought to be the quietest and nicest days. As you scan your posted First Alert Forecast - rain chances and tumultuous temperatures and all - please consider these weekday weather highlights:

- Monday: a cool, showery vibe with 0 to 0.5 inch rainfall tallies for most.

- Tuesday: warmer with the highest odds for showers late in the day versus early.

- Wednesday and Valentine’s Day Thursday: bright, beautiful 60s. Simply enjoy!

- Friday: warm winds could energize gusty showers or a storm late. Stay alert.
