Christian nonprofit league to hold preseason basketball game

BLADENBORO, NC (WECT) - Four teams from North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee will tip off in a preseason basketball event of the Jesus Christ Shadow Players' League in Bladenboro on Saturday, Jan. 12.

The game will feature the N.C. Disciples vs. the Georgia Reapers and the S.C. Ambassadors vs. the Tennessee Trustees. The game will be held at Bladenboro Middle School located at 910 S. Main St. at 1:15 p.m.

As many as 45 to 50 players are expected to attend.

Tickets are $15 for general admission. Tickets for seniors are $10 and $7 for children under 10 years old.
