NHRMC welcomes first baby of 2019
The New Hanover Regional Medical Center said Lila was born at 1:35 a.m. on New Year's Day.

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Not long after many of us said goodbye to 2018, New Hanover Regional Medical Center said hello to the first baby born at the hospital in 2019.

NHRMC announced Monday afternoon that a baby girl, Lila, was born at 1:35 a.m. on Jan. 1.

It's our pleasure to introduce Miss Lila born 1/1/19 at 1:35 a.m. weighing 7 lbs 5 oz and measuring 21 1/4 inches long. Congratulations to mom and dad on a beautiful New Year's baby.

Lila weighs seven pounds, five ounces and is 21 1/4 inches long.
