WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Transfer students from James Sprunt Community College will have a smooth transition to UNCW to obtain a four-year degree.
The community college signed a Guaranteed Admissions Agreement with UNCW and also employed a transfer student success advisor to help students complete the admissions process and understand the requirements necessary to pursue a degree at UNCW.
“This is just one more way that we can show students the commitment that exists between our college and UNCW,” said Dr. Kenneth Boham, president of James Sprunt Community College. “Students can come to James Sprunt to complete their first two years and transfer seamlessly to UNCW to receive their bachelor’s degree, that is what this agreement assures.”
The agreement was signed by Dr. Jose V. Sartarelli, the chancellor of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and Dr. Kenneth Boham, the president of James Sprunt Community College on Friday, November 30, 2018.
